    Warm hearted and joyful LAUGHTER is part of every warm-up, as is sound and silence.
    We practice breath work and toning, awareness and deep listening - integrating elements of Kara's signature VOICE YOUR ESSENCE Method.
    We enjoy ear training. and study vibrational resonance.
    We consciously work on letting go of too much pressure beneath vocal folds and learn to release neck, shoulder, jaw and tongue tension.

    Trust yourself, you do not need a lot of pressure in your life.

    We embrace good stories and poetry,
    we explore rhythm and rhyme.
    We use melody and sound to bridge.

    Our songs uplift and empower and reflect the evolutionary times we live in.
    We use rounds to practice holding harmony while moving our hands and feet.
    We align body-mind-spirit and embody sound.
    Music is about integrating.
    We explore dynamics, moving from whisper to roar.

  • Our repertoire is diverse. 

    Kara looks for songs that invite us in. She selects songs from contemporary singer-songwriters and introduces the choir to great poets such as Tagore, Rumi, Hafiz, Rilke and others. 
    She writes new material for the choir and her published work is available as solo and choir arrangements.

  • Rather than pushing away the crazy things we feel, my work proceeds with the conviction that our actions and beliefs and deep feelings make exquisite sense; and that the way to transform our relationship to our voice  is to be open, curious and kind with ourselves instead of punishing, impatient and harsh.

  • CLOSING SERIES

    As the sun sets and candles burn Kara leads us into moving inward. We have come full circle and arrive at the place of all beginnings. We allow the darkness to envelope us. All great things grow in the darkness. The trees take root in the dark. The stars shine in the dark. What role do we play in these topsy turfy times?

    How can we support each other on the path? Can we consciously contribute to raising the frequency of the earth and make WORLD PEACE a given? WE HAVE A CHOICE.
